7 September 2016, London
Rachel Tucker, Suzie Mathers, Oliver Savile, Anita Dobson, Mark Curry, Katie Rowley Jones, Idriss Kargbo, Martin Ball
Note: A wonderful cast that is strong. Rachel is back and stronger than ever, Suzie is a gem from start to finish (one of the strongest London Glindas to date), Oliver seems really at ease with the role which is PERFECT for Fiyero, and Anita is great & seems to be really enjoying it.
27 September 2016, London - 10th Anniversary Show - 2 Versions Available
Rachel Tucker (Elphaba), Suzie Mathers (Glinda), Oliver Savile (Fiyero), Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose), Idriss Kargbo (Boq), Anita Dobson (Madame Morrible), Mark Curry (The Wizard), Martin Ball (Dr. Dillamond), Russell Walker, Chanel Mian, Claudia Kariuki, Will Lucas, James Darch, Kerry Enright, Joseph Fletcher, David Gale, Sergio Giacomelli, Olivia Kate Holding, Aaron Jenkins, Ella Nonini, Rosa O'Reilly, Julienne Schembri, Jessamy Stoddart, Joe Sleight, Joe Toland, Helen Woolf
Version 1: mycornerofthesky.weebly.com’s master
Tracked. Includes speeches by Rachel, Suzie and Stephen Schwartz. Previous cast members from the London and UK & Ireland tour joined the cast on stage, inlcuding all previous London Elphabas and Glindas other than Idina and Helen.
Version 2: hauntsandhurts' master
Untracked. A- recording. Recorded from the dress circle with Tascam DR-07 equipment.
Crystal clear recording of Wicked London's special 10th anniversary performance. The atmosphere was electric in the Apollo Victoria and the audience filled with former cast members and Wicked creatives - including Stephen Schwartz (sat two rows in front!), Shoshana Bean, Kerry Ellis, Alexia Khadime, Louise Dearman, Willemijn Verkaik, Cassidy Janson, Diane Pilkington and Sarah Earnshaw to name just a few.
This was one of the strongest performances the master have ever see Rachel give, her belt is incredibly loud and powerful and the end of Defying Gravity is stunning - including a special end riff. The audience go mad for it. Suzie Mathers is also a hilarious Glinda with Popular being a real showstopper. There are a couple of bloopers - the 'Congratulotions' sign in Thank Goodness doesn't unfurl properly and in Act 2 one of the wizard's guards walks smack into one of the pillars!
This audio includes the special speeches at the end - including a very emotional one from Stephen Schwartz - with confetti and balloon drop.
